Rita Ora Designer Focus.
Rita Ora was born in 1990 in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia, (now Kosovo) to Albanian parents. Her family left Kosovo for political reasons to settle in London in 1991 when Rita was a baby. She began singing at an early age and later attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School of performing arts. Rita began signing in her father’s pub to later release covers on YouTube where she was spotted.
Rita rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on the UK’s number one single from DJ Fresh, Hot Right Now. Her debut album was release 6 months later and made it to number one in the UK’s album chart. A Brit award for the British Breakthrough Act followed, Her second hit album Phoenix, was released 6 years later.
Collaborations
In January 2014, Adidas announced a designer collaboration with Rita for their line of casual sports clothing Adidas Originals. Ora designed her own apparel collections for the brand, including footwear and accessories.
In 2016, she collaborated with the Italian fashion brand, Tezenis, on a lingerie collection.
2018, Ora co-designed a capsule shoe collection with the Italian footwear designer, Giuseppe Zanotti.
After appearing as the face of Escada, Ora co-designed her own collection with the brand in 2019.
In February 2020 Rita Ora launched her first interior home collection with a focus on luxurious bedding and accessories.

The vibrant, modern and comfortable collection, which embodies Rita’s vivacious spirit, features six unique designs that will be sure to add a touch of style and drama to any bedroom. Each design is inspired by one of Rita’s many loves and reflects the glamorous, edgy style she is renowned for.
The alluring designs include the Portobello bedding set, inspired by Rita’s admiration of marble and precious stones, which mimics the beautiful qualities of crystals, incorporating soft faded ombres on plush crinkled satin. The opulent Medina design, with chiffon ruffles edged in glistening sequins, reflects Rita’s love of jewels and sparkle, as the soft floaty feathers on the tranquil Pristina design brings her Hollywood glamour to life.
Other designs in the collection are inspired by Rita’s adoration of florals, such as the dreamy Florentina design featuring hand painted blooms in a soft pink hue and the intricately gathered satin pleats in the Tirana design, which nod to the flowing organic shapes of petals on a rose. Whilst the stunning Latimer bedding adorned with beautiful blossoms and delicately printed crystals, signifies her passion for traditional oriental artwork.
The designs are available in Single, Double, King and Super King sizes with complementary pillowcases. To add further glamour to the bed sets, all designs have accompanying decorative cushions and throws, adorned in embellishments and lavish trimmings to complete the luxurious look.
