Matthew Wiliamson – Designer Focus

Matthew Williamson is a British fashion designer known for his bold use of colors and prints. He rose to fame in the early 2000s and has since become a prominent figure in the fashion industry. With his unique vision and innovative approach to design, he has created a distinct aesthetic that is instantly recognizable.

Williamson studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, where he developed his signature style. His early collections were influenced by the vibrant colors and patterns of India, where he traveled extensively. He quickly gained a following for his use of bold, exotic prints and his ability to combine contrasting colors in unexpected ways.

One of Williamson's defining features is his love for kaleidoscopic prints. He has designed a collection of wallpaper, fabrics, and furnishings for Osborne & Little, a high-end British interiors brand, and has also collaborated with the furniture company Duresta on a range of sofas and chairs.

He is passionate about environmental issues and has worked to promote sustainable fashion and reduce waste in the industry. He has also launched a number of charitable initiatives, including a collaboration with the charity Save the Children to create a range of t-shirts and bags to raise funds for the organization.

New from Wrendale Designs, we have a beautiful range of umbrellas. These gorgeous umbrellas from Wrendale Designs will keep you dry whilst looking stylish, each making a wonderful gift. Made from 100% recycled polyester with a maple wood handle.  When closed the umbrella measures  a compact 240mm x 47mm.
